List of international cricket five-wicket hauls on New Zealand cricket grounds

New Zealand played their first Test in 1930 against England in Christchurch, New Zealand, becoming the fifth country to play Test cricket. It took the team until 1955–56 to win a Test, against the West Indies at Eden Park in Auckland.[1] They played their first ODI in the 1972–73 season against Pakistan in Christchurch. New Zealand is one of the first nations to play in very first Twenty20 International as well, against Australia in 2005.

There are many more world famous cricket grounds in New Zealand. These pitches are renowned for fast bouncy tracks, where most of the Indian subcontinent nations playing with more difficulty. Eden Park in Auckland is the oldest Tests ground in the New Zealand. Most of the grounds are used for all three forms of the game, where they are no categorized as Test venues, limited over venues.

In cricket, a five-wicket haul (also known as a "five-for" or "fifer")[2][3] refers to a bowler taking five or more wickets in a single innings. This is regarded as a notable achievement.[4] The following list is about the five-wicket hauls taken at New Zealand cricket grounds.
