Castaways Beach is a suburb in Noosa, Queensland, Australia, located 7 kilometres (4 mi) south of Noosa Heads. It is within the local government area of Shire of Noosa whilst between 2008 and 2013 it was within Sunshine Coast Region). At the 2011 Australian Census the suburb recorded a population of 606.^[1]
