Velký Karlov is a village and municipality (obec) in Znojmo District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 13.48 square kilometres (5.20 sq mi), and has a population of 425 (as of 3 July 2006).
Velký Karlov lies approximately 22 kilometres (14 mi) east of Znojmo, 50 km (31 mi) south-west of Brno, and 199 km (124 mi) south-east of Prague.
