Sport Club Corinthians São Vicente is a football (soccer) club that plays in the São Vicente Island League in Cape Verde. The team is based in the city of Mindelo. The club is named after the Brazilian club SC Corinthians of the city of São Paulo and is an affiliate of the club.[1] Its logo is nearly the same as the SC Corinthians logo along with its uniform. The club is the second in the country to have it named after a Brazilian club, the first was Botafogo from São Filipe.

The club was founded on September 9, 1987. Corinthians started off in the first division in which they played up to the 2010s, when the second division was formed. The club has mainly always finished in the lower positions each season. The club celebrated its 25th anniversary on September 9, 2012. Corinthians now currently plays in the Second Division as of the new 2015–16 season.[2]

The club also has a youth team, Corinthians was the champion the Cape Verdean junior championships once, also the club was a three time champion of the São Vicente Youth Championships.
