Sella, Alicante

Sella (Valencian pronunciation: [ˈseʎa]) is a municipality in the comarca of Marina Baixa in the province of Alicante, Spain. Every year the first weekend of October Sella celebrates its Festa Major; Festes de l'Aurora.

Sella has one of the most important climbing areas in the Valencian Community, with a lot of high quality limestone rock and hundreds of bolted routes.[1]

The village has two shops, two banks, 6 bars, restaurants, and a lot of accommodation - a bed and Breakfast, bunk houses, self-contained houses and luxury quarters. As a holiday destination, up in the hills, it offers excellent walking, climbing and cycling, either VTT or road bikes.
