Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County

The Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County serves the communities of Mahoning County, Ohio from its administrative offices in Youngstown, Ohio, with 15 branches in Youngstown, Austintown, Campbell, Canfield, Greenford, Lake Milton, North Jackson, Poland, Sebring, New Middletown, and Struthers.The public library also has a branch called "Special Delivery" which sends books to disabled persons. Mahoning County is located 65 miles (105 km) southeast of Cleveland, Ohio and 62 miles (100 km) northwest of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In 2005, the library loaned more than 1.8 million items to its 122,000 cardholders.[1] . Total holdings are over 686,000 volumes with over 1,100 periodical subscriptions[2]

Electronic resources

The Library has many electronic resources, including online databases provided by Ohio Public Library Information Network (OPLIN), and e-book/audio book lending services. Also at all branches there are computers to use, but only in certain locations are there color printing. Copiers are available also.
