Leonel López Gonzalez (born May 24, 1994 in Zacoalco de Torres, Jalisco, Mexico) is a professional Mexican footballer who currently plays as midfielder for León.[1]

Club career

Club Leon

Leonel began his official football career when he was bought by Club Leon from youth club, Yurecuaro on July 1, 2013. Leonel began his first professional game in the 2014-2015 CONCACAF Champions League against Salvadorean Club, Isidro Metapan, though on the bench.[2] Leonel started his first Copa MX game on July 25, 2013 against Dorados de sinaloa. It wasn't until September 20, 2014 that Leonel would debut with Club Leon against Tiburones rojos de Veracruz at home.[3] Leon won 3 -1.
