Lake Township is one of fifteen townships in Clinton County, Illinois, USA. As of the 2010 census, its population was 960 and it contained 394 housing units.[1] Lake Township was formed from part of Crooked Creek (Brookside) Township.

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 29.93 square miles (77.5 km2), of which 29.8 square miles (77 km2) (or 99.57%) is land and 0.13 square miles (0.34 km2) (or 0.43%) is water.[1]
