The Isaac Child House is a historic house at 209 Newton Street in Brookline, Massachusetts. It is uncertain exactly when the oldest portion of this 3-1/2 story wood frame house was built; it contains beams that may have been reused from an early 18th century house that was probably in this site, but there is no documentary record of a house here until the 1790s. The house was extensively altered in the 1870s, literally raising up the old structure and building a new first floor. It has seen only relatively modest alterations since then.[2]

The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.[1]
