Horní Pěna is a village and municipality (obec) in Jindřichův Hradec District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 14.82 square kilometres (5.72 sq mi), and has a population of 504 (as at 1 January 2008).
Horní Pěna lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) south-east of Jindřichův Hradec, 44 km (27 mi) east of České Budějovice, and 119 km (74 mi) south of Prague.
