Gunnila Bernadotte

Gunnila Bernadotte at Princess Madeleine's wedding in 2013

Gunnila Märta Louise Bernadotte, Countess of Wisborg (12 May 1923 12 September 2016) was a Swedish countess.

The daughter of Nils Wachtmeister af Johannishus, she was first married to Carl-Herman Bussler in 1942; the couple had three children together.[1][2] Following his death, on 29 September 1988 in Copenhagen she became the second wife of the also widowed Count Carl Johan Bernadotte, youngest son of Gustaf VI Adolf, who had been a childhood friend of hers.[3][4][5] Through her marriage to Bernadotte she became nobility in Luxemburg.[6]

In 2010, Bernadotte gave her the house in Båstad which he had built for himself and his first wife, Kerstin Wijkmark.[7] He died in 2012.[3][8]
