Emmylou "Lala" Jacolo Taliño-Mendoza (born February 25, 1972) is a Filipino politician. As a member of the KAMPI party, she has been elected for three terms as a Member of the House of Representatives of the Philippines, representing the 1st District of North Cotabato. She first won election to Congress in 2001, and was re-elected in 2004 and 2007.
She is the incumbent Governor of the Province, and the second woman Governor of Cotabato next to Dr. Rosario Diaz.
Education
Primary and Secondary Education (1978–1989): Notre Dame of Kidapawan for Girls or now conferred as St. Mary's Academy of Kidapawan.[2]
Tertiary Education: Ateneo de Davao University[3]
