Dhikurpokhari is a suburb and Village Development Committee in Kaski District in the Gandaki Zone of northern-central Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 7,392 persons living in 1,427 individual households.[1]

There are good views of the Annapurna range. It is the birthplace of a current Prime Minister, Prachanda.

Among the various wards of this VDC Ward no.8 is the largest ward of this VDC. in term of forest area.This ward mainly called paudhur and it has the largest forest area among the rest of wards of this VDC.Many Youths have been gone to foreign employment of this ward and send foreign currency which directly helps to increase the PCI of the country as well.

Ward number 9 of Dhikur Pokhari includes the villages Serachour, Thulachour,and Saureni. This ward has more than 200 households, among which 100 households are located in Serachour in a dense cluster of houses. Serachour is one of the most educated villages of the Dhikur Pokhari VDC. Most of the people from this village are engaged in governmental and non-governmental organizations. Some are employed as senior officers, engineers, District Forest officers, and agriculture scientists.
