The Chandgi Ram Sports Complex(Hindi:चंदगी राम स्पोर्ट्स कॉम्प्लेक्स) is an international-level sports complex having a hockey pitch, badminton hall and a swimming pool in Saifai, Etawah District of Uttar Pradesh. It is named after Haryanvi wrestler Chandgi Ram.

Sports Facilities at Chandgi Ram Sports Complex

Chandgi Ram Hockey Stadium

The stadium has facilities like a 15,000-capacity AstroTurf hockey stadium with synthetic running track, base & synthetic surface.[2] It witnesses 5th Senior National Hockey Championship 2015(Women).

Swimming Pool

It is a swimming pool which fulfills international standards of swimming(sport).[2]

Badminton Hall

This sports complex had a badminton hall too.[2]

Saifai has two Sports Complexes, othere one is named International Sports Stadium, Saifai, an international-level sports complex with an athletics stadium, an indoor stadium, an indoor swimming pool and under constriction international cricket stadium.

Sports College & University

Saifai village has a residential sports college, established in 2014. It offers teaching from 6th to 12th standardand by the curriculum of Board of High School and Intermediate Education, Uttar Pradesh (U.P. Board) and sports training in cricket, football, hockey, wrestling, athletics, badminton, swimming and kabaddi.

In 2015, the work of a first-of-its-kind Sports University started at Saifai.[3]

About Saifai

Saifai is a village in the Etawah District of Uttar Pradesh. It is situated between Mainpuri and Etawah. Distance between it and Mainpuri is 33 km, and distance between it and Etawah is 20 km.

Saifai is the birthplace of Mulayam Singh Yadav founder president of Samajwadi Party, former Minister of Defence (India) & former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.
