MNZ Murska Sobota Cup

All member clubs of MNZ Murska Sobota that played in 1. MNL (4th level) or higher in Slovenian league pyramid were required to participate, while participation for clubs in 2. MNL was optional.[3]

Veržej was automatically given a bye into the second round before the 1st round draw.

Both finalists qualified for 2016-17 Slovenian Cup.
