Traction

The entire route is yet to be fully electrified. A Mughalsarai or Itarsi based WAP 4 or WAM 4 locomotive powers the train from Rajendra Nagar up to Sawai Madhopur handing over to a Abu Road based WDM 3A or Bhagat Ki Kothi based WDP 4 which powers the train for the remainder of its journey until Ajmer Junction
