Viman Nagar, Pune
Viman Nagar is a neighbourhood in the eastern corridor of Pune, around half a kilometer from a military airstrip which currently serves as Pune's only domestic cum international airport. The name of this neighbourhood has been derived from this nearby air force station. Pre-independence, this area was known as Dunkirk Lines. The area is progressing at a rapid pace.Also the land and property rates are increasing day by day due to the new IT parks being constructed in nearby areas of Viman Nagar.Viman Nagar falls near areas such as Kalyani Nagar, Yerwada, Vishrantwadi & Dhanori-Lohegaon.
