Tanel Laanmäe (born 29 September 1989) is an Estonian athlete specialising in the javelin throw.[3] He won the gold medal at the 2015 Summer Universiade. He also represented his country at the 2009 World Championships without qualifying for the final.

His personal best in the event is 83.11 metres set in Viljandi in 2015.
