Pia Reyes (born July 3, 1964)[1] is a Filipino American model and actress. She was the November 1988 Playboy Playmate of the Month, and appeared in the 1993 cult horror film Return of the Living Dead 3, Steven Seagal's On Deadly Ground, Auntie Lee's Meat Pies with Karen Black, and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, among other projects.

Early life

Reyes was born in Manila, Philippines,[1] the fifth of eight children, and became a naturalized American citizen in 1969, along with seven siblings. Her father Antonio M. Reyes, was a mechanical engineer that worked and built engines for U.S. naval ships. Her mother, Carlina A. Reyes, was an English teacher and concert classical pianist. She later became the Director of TARP at Temple University, Philadelphia. Antonio Reyes worked for Sun Oil and Stone and Webster in shipbuilding. The Reyes relocated their family later to Haverford, Pennsylvania. Reyes graduated from Haverford High School in Haverford Township, Pennsylvania in 1979,[2] where she played high school field hockey, basketball, tennis and lacrosse.

Reyes earned a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising and Marketing from Penn State University in 1984, where she also played on the varsity women's lacrosse team, coached by esteemed Head Coach Gillian Rattray. She walked on as a freshman.[3]

Controversies

Reyes was once married to convicted French con artist, Christophe Rocancourt, with whom she has a son, Zeus. On April 27, 2001 she and Rocancourt were arrested in Oak Bay, British Columbia, Canada. Rocancourt was charged with fraud, but Reyes was immediately released after authorities determined that she had no involvement in her husband's fraudulent activities.

She later relocated to New York and enrolled in 2009 at the NYU School of Professional and Continuing Studies Portfolio Management Advanced Certificate Program. She finished with the Advanced Certificate in Portfolio Management.[4][5]
