Orient Paper Mills

Orient Paper Mill is a paper and paper crafts manufacturer in Amlai (Madhya Pradesh) and Brajarajnagar (Orissa), India, which employs most of the populace of that area. It is one of the most efficient paper mills in the area and has been associated with paper manufacture in Africa.[1] The mill is part of Orient Paper & Industries, which comprises the paper facility and manufactures of Portland cement and ceiling fans, and which itself is a subsidiary company of CK Birla Group. Orient paper & Industries has the new name in electronic area as a name of Orient Electric Ltd. The main plant of fan division is in Faridabad, sector 6, Haryana with the CFL division. Mr.Ravinder Gambhir is the GM of Faridabad plant.

Orient has worked with Pan African Paper Mills in Kenya, in partnership with the Government of Kenya and the International Finance Corporation.

The Orient Paper Mill was awarded the Golden Peacock Environment Management Award for 2006 by the World Environment Foundation (WEF).[2]
