Ontonagon County Airport, also known as Schuster Field, (ICAO: OGM, FAA LID: OGM) is a county owned public use airport located 3 miles (5 km) west of the central business district of Ontonagon, Michigan, a village in Ontonagon County, Michigan, United States.[1] It is included in the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2017–2021, in which it is categorized as a basic general aviation facility.[4]

Although most airports in the United States use the same three-letter location identifier for the FAA and International Air Transport Association (IATA), this airport is assigned OGM by the FAA but has no designation from the IATA.[4]

Facilities and aircraft

Ontonagon County Airport covers an area of 360 acres (145 ha) at an elevation of 665 feet (203 m) above mean sea level. It has one runway: 17/35 is 3,503 by 75 feet (1,068 x 23 m) with an asphalt surface, it has one approved GPS-A approach.[1]

For the 12-month period ending December 31, 2014, the airport had no recorded data regarding aircraft operations. In November 2016, there were 4 aircraft based at this airport: all single-engine.[1]
