Naraini is a town and a nagar panchayat in Banda district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.

Demographics

As of 2001 India census,[1] Naraini had a population of 13,124. Males constitute 54% of the population and females 46%. Naraini has an average literacy rate of 57%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 66%, and female literacy is 45%. In Naraini, 18% of the population is under 6 years of age.

Naraini has various religious and popular DHAAM as DEVI which is situated near by main chauk. It has various fort like RANGARH,very famous fort from vedic time. The fortress of Kalinjar is famed for its war history and its glorious rock sculptures.

It has various RICE MILL situated here. One of the famous MILL is MOHINI RICE MILL which is situated at ATARRA Road. NARAINI has two petrol pumps. One is at ATARRA Road And Second is at Banda Road.

Near by places are KALINGER, KARTAL, ATARRA, KHAJURAHO and CHITRAKOOT.
