The 2018 Minnesota gubernatorial election will take place on November 6, 2018, to elect the Governor of Minnesota, concurrently with the election of Minnesota's Class I U.S. Senate seat, as well as other elections to the United States Senate in other states and elections to the United States House of Representatives and various Minnesota and local elections. Incumbent Democratic Governor Mark Dayton is eligible to run for a third term, but has pledged not to do so.
