List of municipal corporations in Andhra Pradesh

The article lists all the municipal corporations in the state of Andhra Pradesh, each headed by a municipal commissioner and a mayor.[1]

Statistics

The state of Andhra Pradesh has a total of 16 municipal corporations in 13 districts.[2] East Godavari district and Chittoor district has the most number of corporations with two each and all the other districts has only one.[3] Machilipatnam, Srikakulam and Vizianagaram were upgraded as municipal corporations on 9 December 2015.[4] Out of all the corporations, 13 are district headquarters, while Vijayawada, Tirupati and Rajahmundry are just cities of their respective districts.[2]
