Hamlet, Missouri

Hamlet is an unincorporated community in Cedar County, in the U.S. state of Missouri.

History

The community was named after Charles Hamlet, a local merchant.^[1] A variant name was Sexson.^[2] A post office called Sexson was established in 1893, and remained in operation until 1906.^[3]
