Hostomel

Hostomel, also known as Gostomel (Ukrainian: Гостомель, Hostomel' ; Russian: Гостомель, Gostomel' ), is a town in Ukraine's Kiev Oblast, north-western suburb to the capital city of Kiev. Administratively, it is subordinated to Irpin Municipality. Population: 14,411 (2013 est.)^[1].

The town is mainly known as the location of the Gostomel Airport which is a major international cargo facility. There is also a Vetropack glass factory in Hostomel.
