Goodwin & I v United Kingdom

Goodwin & I v United Kingdom is a 2002 decision of the European Court of Human Rights.[1][2] In the decision, two transgender women - Christine Goodwin and a person who chose to be identified as "I" – were accorded the right to have their gender changed on their birth certificates.[3]
