Eric Bachier Román

Eric Enrique Bachier Román (born August 21, 1976) is a Puerto Rican politician and the current mayor of Arroyo, Puerto Rico. Bachier is affiliated with the Popular Democratic Party (PDP) and has served as mayor since 2013. Eric Enrique Bachier Román, born one August 21, 1976 in the municipality of Salinas, Puerto Rico. Bachier his parents Jesús and Carmen Román. He is the youngest son of a family of four brothers, Jesús Jr., Evelyn and Lillian.

He began his primary education in schools and Dolores Huyke Enrique Gonzalez, the latter located in the Urb. Jardines de Arroyo, place where he grew up and begin to develop as an athlete, interested in specializing in the sport of baseball. After this, he went on to pursue their secondary grades in schools Choudens Jose and Carmen Bozello of Huyke where he received his school diploma. During his teenage years he has excelled for his humility, simplicity and sensitivity to the situations of others. His interest in continuing a life of progress led him to pursue university studies at the University of Puerto Rico, Humacao campus, where the degree of Chemical Technologist obtained.

In the interest noted as an athlete, he participated as a baseball player in the leagues of Class A, Double AA, member of the National Junior Team of Puerto Rico, among others. He has been gold and silver medalist at the Games of the best known Interuniversity League as LAI Fair.

It is at this stage of his life, as he prepared for his career, knows that today is his wife Glorimar Rodriguez, with whom he later married and procreated two beautiful girls, Perla del Mar and Ambar. It fulfilling his responsibility as a father, as a professional develops occupying various positions in the private sector, including as a management performance in order to bring sustenance to your home.

After settling, live surrounded by their loved ones and having a family where unity and love is the most important, the decision to the political arena with the backing of it. Thus, formalizing their intention to aspire to public office by filing his candidacy for mayor of the municipality of Arroyo, becoming, after the democratic exercise of a people, in the Forty-Second Mayor, since the founding of this in 1855.^[1]
