Cloudland, Georgia

Cloudland is an unincorporated area in western Chattooga County in the U.S. state of Georgia.[1] It is located at an elevation of 1,498 feet atop Lookout Mountain,[2] a broad ridge that occupies northwestern Georgia and northeastern Alabama. Cloudland is 412 feet higher then the neighboring city of Menlo.

Cloudland had its start in the late 19th century as a summer resort.[3] A post office has been in operation in Cloudland since 1916.[4]

The Girl Scouts' Camp Juliette Low, named for founder Juliette Gordon Low, is located just northeast of town.
