Calaocan, Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya

Calaocan is a mainly rural barangay within Bambang Municipality of Nueva Vizcaya province in Region II (Cagayan Valley) of the Philippines.[1][2]

As reported by the National Statistics Office of the Philippines (NSO), Nueva Vizcaya province is part of the Region II (Cagayan Valley). The Province Code for Nueva Vizcaya is 50 and the Municipality Code for Bambang Municipality within Nueva Vizcaya province is 4.[1][2][3]

The Province of Nueva Vizcaya is governed by a Governor. Bambang Municipality is governed by a Mayor. Each Barangay is governed by a Punong Barangay (Barangay Captain in English).[1]

Geography

Calaocan Barangay includes Juel Country Homes Subdivision, Dinili and Purok 7 Namuog.[4] It is reachable via San Fernando Road, which runs perpendicular to the Maharlika Highway on the corner of Bambang Public Market.

Demography

According to the Philippines Statistics Authority, Calaocan has a population of 3,167.[2][5][6]

Transportation

No public transportation operates within the Barangay. Nearby Bambang (1 to 2 km away) hosts a public bus service.
