Benny Motzfeldt

Benny Anette Motzfeldt (née Berg Nilssen; 26 June 1909  24 November 1995) was a Norwegian visual artist and glass designer and sculptor.

She was born in Levanger, as a daughter of physician Andreas Berg Nilssen and Benny Marie Dahl. She was married three times, in her third marriage with aviator and military officer Birger Fredrik Motzfeldt. Motzfeldt is particularly known for her works with glass, and her works are represented in museums in Norway, at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, in Copenhagen and in Stockholm. She was decorated Knight First Class of the Order of St. Olav in 1985. She was awarded the Jakob prize and the Swedish Prince Eugen Medal.[1][2]
