Aritzo (Sardinian: Arìtzo) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Nuoro in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 80 kilometres (50 mi) north of Cagliari and about 40 kilometres (25 mi) southwest of Nuoro. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,445 and an area of 75.7 square kilometres (29.2 sq mi).[1]

Aritzo borders the following municipalities: Arzana, Belvì, Desulo, Gadoni, Laconi, Meana Sardo, and Seulo.
