Šanov is a village and municipality (obec) in Zlín District in the Zlín Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 9.06 square kilometres (3.50 sq mi), and has a population of 492 (as at 3 July 2006).
Šanov lies approximately 28 kilometres (17 mi) south-east of Zlín and 278 km (173 mi) south-east of Prague.
