Světnov is a village and municipality (obec) in Žďár nad Sázavou District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 10.99 square kilometres (4.24 sq mi), and has a population of 417 (as at 3 July 2006).
Světnov lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) north of Žďár nad Sázavou, 37 km (23 mi) north-east of Jihlava, and 123 km (76 mi) south-east of Prague.
