Marble Brewery, founded in 2008, is influenced by centuries of old world brewing traditions, yet always remains at the cutting edge of the American craft brewing industry. Located at 111 Marble Avenue in Downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico, Marble Brewery crafts award winning beer and contributes to the local economy through cultural and philanthropic endeavors. With capacity steadily increasing, production exceeded 13,000 barrels in 2014.

The Marble Brewery Pub at 111 Marble Ave has a lively pub and patio scene with outdoor live music April–October and various food trucks throughout the week. The building, the former site of an HVAC company, has been renovated multiple times to accommodate a large patio, a stage, a shade structure, and an outdoor bar as well as a cozy, inviting indoor space.

The Marble Brewery Westside tap room, located at 5740 Night Whisper Rd NW on Albuquerque's Westside, opened in October 2012. The tap room was originally located in a small storefront but was expanded in October 2014 to include an indoor stage and extensive additional seating. Local design firm Modulus crafted community tables and benches from reclaimed wood to create the signature Marble community feel. The patio also doubled in size and picnic tables were added.

A third tap room located at 505 Cerrillos Rd. Suite A105 in Santa Fe, New Mexico opened in May 2014. Like the Westside tap moom, the Santa Fe tap room features 12 unique Marble brews on tap.[1][2]

Products

Marble Brewery produces a variety of beers. Many of the beers Marble brews have a high alcohol content and are strongly hopped beers. The beers have acquired a positive reputation among the New Mexico beer drinking community and microbrew enthusiasts.[3] Marble Brewery produces bottles and kegs and distributes its products to bars and retail locations in throughout New Mexico and neighboring states.

Awards

Marble Brewery has won 9 medals at the Great American Beer Festival between 2011 and 2014. They were awarded the Best Small Brewery and Small Brewery Brewer in 2014. The "Double White" has received a Bronze Medal in 2012 and a Gold Medal in 2014 in the Other Strong Beer category. The "Imperial Red" has won a Silver Medal in 2012 and a Gold in 2014 in the Imperial Red category. The Bronze Medal for the “Thunder from Dortmunder” in 2013 in the Dortmunder category. The "Pilsner" has received a Bronze Medal in 2011 and 2013 in the German Style Pilsner category.[4] They were also awarded Gold for the "Pilsner" at the World Beer Cup in 2014 in the Kellerbier category.
