Carlos Hernández Alarcón (born 15 September 1990) is a Spanish footballer who plays for CD Lugo as a central defender.

Club career

Born in Jaén, Andalusia, Hernández finished his formation with local Real Jaén, making his senior debuts with the B-team in the regional leagues. He was definitely promoted to the main squad in the 2011 summer, appearing in 37 matches in his first season as the club failed to promote from Segunda División B.

On 14 July 2012, Hernández moved to Real Zaragoza, who paid 70,000 for his services,[1] He was immediately assigned to the reserves, also in the third division.

On 9 August 2013, Hernández joined CE Sabadell FC in Segunda División.[2] He played his first game as a professional on the 18th, featuring the full 90 minutes and scoring his side's second goal in a 4–0 home win against RCD Mallorca.[3]

On 4 July 2015, Hernández moved to fellow league team CD Lugo after agreeing to a two-year deal.[4]
