ZipBooks is an online accounting program integrated with WePay, Stripe, and PayPal.[1]

ZipBooks was founded by Tim Chaves (HBS 2015)[2] in June 2015, and received seed funding from Peak Ventures.[3]

ZipBooks is used by freelancers and companies to send online invoices and make financial reports. It is the highest-rated accounting app in the Google Chrome Web Store[4] and among accounting program reviewed on Capterra.[5]

ZipBooks is free of a monthly subscription. Its API[6] has been used by third-parties to build related mobile apps.[7]

Official Launch

ZipBooks officially launched on Product Hunt in May 2016.[8] ZipBooks is the has the most votes of any accounting or invoicing apps in Product Hunt.

Recognition

In May 2015 ZipBooks was featured as a "New and Notable" app in the Google Apps Marketplace.[9] ZipBooks has received press coverage regarding its business model[10][11] and iPhone app.[12]
