Yuval Filo (Hebrew: יובל פילו; born 3 March 1998) is an Israeli Olympic group rhythmic gymnast. She represented Israel at the 2016 Summer Olympics.

Personal life

Filo lives in Tel Aviv, Israel.[5] She attends Golda High School in Petah Tikva, Israel.[6]

Rhythmic gymnastics career

Filo represents Israel at international competitions. She started practicing gymnastics at age six, and started competing in 2008.[7] Her club is Maccabi Tel Aviv.[8] Her coaches are Lena Zelikman, Ira Vigdorchik, Raya Irgo, Ela Samofalov, and choreographer Ayelet Zysman.[9][10]

In 2013, she came in fourth in group at the European Junior Championships.[11]

She competed at the 2014 World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in Izmir, Turkey, where she won the silver medal in the group 10 clubs event.[12][13][14] She won a bronze medal in the all-around at the 2014 Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan.[15]

Representing Israel at the 2015 European Games in Baku in gymnastics, she won silver medals in the group all-around and group clubs and hoops event, and a bronze medal in the group ribbons event.[16]

In 2016 at the International Federation of Gymnastics World Cup in Baku she won the group gold medal in the ribbon exercise, and the group silver medal in the all-around competition.[17] At the 2016 Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championships in Holon, Israel, on the Mediterranean coast south of Tel Aviv, she and the Israeli team won a group gold in the clubs and hoops category, a group silver in the ribbon routine, and a bronze in the all-around competition.[18][19]

She epresented Israel at the 2016 Summer Olympics.[20] She and the Israeli team finished 6th in the final of the group all-around.[21]
