Yim Jae-beom

Yim Jae-beom (任載範, 임재범, also spelled Yim Jae-bum or Im Jae-bum; born October 14, 1962) is a South Korean rock ballad singer. He started out in 1986 as the vocalist for Sinawe. After recording with other groups like Asiana and Rock in Korea he released solo albums in 1991, 1997, 1998, 2000 and 2004. In 2011, he released a new solo album, "Day by Day" (날이 갈수록) which reached #2 in Hanteo Daily Charts on 19 September.

2011

In 2011, Yim joined the cast of "I Am a Singer" or "Naneun Gasuda" (Hangul: 나는 가수다) where he placed first two times. On May 23, 2011, "I Am a Singer" announced that Yim would be taking a temporary leave from the show.[1]

He released a new solo album, "Day by Day" (Hangul: 날이 갈수록) which reached No.2 in Hanteo Daily Charts at 19 September.

He also took part in the OST of the successful Korean drama City Hunter with the song "Love" (Hangul: 사랑, Romanization: Sarang).[2]

2013

In 2013, Yim released a duet with South Korean singer, Ali, titled I Love You.[3]
