Yerington Municipal Airport (IATA: EYR, FAA LID: O43) is a city owned, public use airport located one nautical mile (2 km) north of the central business district of Yerington, in Lyon County, Nevada, United States.[1] The National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015 categorized it as a general aviation facility.[2]

Facilities and aircraft

Yerington Municipal Airport covers an area of 101 acres (41 ha) at an elevation of 4,382 feet (1,336 m) above mean sea level. It has one runway designated 1/19 with an asphalt surface measuring 5,814 by 75 feet (1,772 x 23 m).[1]

For the 12-month period ending June 30, 2009, the airport had 25,900 aircraft operations, an average of 70 per day: 99% general aviation, 1% military, and <1% air taxi. At that time 44 aircraft were based here: 86% single-engine and 14% multi-engine.[1]
