William V, Count of Nevers

William V was Count of Nevers and Auxerre from 1176 through 1181.[1] His parents were Guy of Nevers and Mathilda of Grignon.[2]

Following his father's death in 1176, his mother, Mathilda, was regent during his lifetime.[1] He died as a child in 1181.[1] William's sister, Agnes would become heiress of Nevers.[1]
