Wayne (Danny) Thornton

Wayne "Danny" Thornton is probably best known for his acting roles these days, but it was in his time as a professional rugby league player with Castleford (1986–90), when he first became used to public appearances. He also got his nickname "Danny" as a Tigers player. Danny went on to play for Doncaster and Bramley before retiring from the pro game, and playing for Cutsyke Raiders (±2002). Film appearances include the following: Booze Cruise (2003), Dream's Ashes (2005 film), The Manchester Passion (2006) *, Please Hold (2007), Freight (2009), Rough & Ready (2011) *,[1] Artificio Conceal 2014, also made appearances in soaps including Coronation Street, Emmerdale and a number of other popular TV programmes, Fresh Meat, Hollyoaks.
