Warriner Island

Warriner Island (68°37′S 77°54′E / 68.617°S 77.900°E / -68.617; 77.900Coordinates: 68°37′S 77°54′E / 68.617°S 77.900°E / -68.617; 77.900) is a small island lying just off the west end of Breidnes Peninsula, Vestfold Hills. First mapped by Norwegian cartographers from air photos taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition, 1936-37. Named by Antarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANCA) for A. Warriner, radio officer at Davis Station, 1961.
