Walter Roque (8 May 1937 – 30 December 2014) was a Uruguayan football player and coach.

Career

Roque played club football for Rampla Juniors.[1] He earned 16 caps for Uruguay,[1] including appearing in 2 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches.[2]

He later became a football manager, and was in charge of the Venezuela national team between 1978 and 1985.[3]

Later life and death

He died on 30 December 2014, at the age of 77.[3]
