W. Robert Blair

W. Robert Blair II (October 22, 1930 January 18, 2014)[1] was an American politician, lawyer, and businessman,

Born in Clarksburg, West Virginia, Blair received his bachelor's degree from West Virginia University and his law degree from West Virginia University College of Law. He then served in the United States Air Force as a judge advocate. In 1966, Blair moved to Illinois and eventually lived in Forest Park, Illinois. Blair practiced law in Chicago, Illinois and owned a real estate business and a restaurant. Blair was a Republican and served in the Illinois House of Representatives from 1967 to 1977. He served as speaker in 1971 and 1975.[2]
