Vsun (Chinese: 闻尚; pinyin: Wén Shàng) is a Chinese smartphone manufacturer based in Shenzhen, Guangdong. The company was founded in 2011 as Shenzhen Vsun Communication Technology Co., Ltd (Chinese: 深圳市闻尚通讯科技有限公司),^[1] and has registered the Vsun brand name in many parts of the world.

History

The company has been engaged in designing, producing and selling mobile phones for over a decade, and having presence in Middle East, Africa, Turkey and CIS countries.^[2]

The company is bringing distribution partners from across the region. The distribution partners and retailers are from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Egypt, Turkey, Afghanistan, Jordan, Kenya, Nigeria, Sudan and several other countries.^{[3][4][5][6][7]}

The company has opened up a large regional head office in Business Bay, Dubai, U.A.E in 2015 in the name of Vsun Electronics Trading L.L.C, and a North Africa hub office in Cairo, Egypt. The company, which has its main head office in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China, boasts a software design house, R&D facilities and multiple manufacturing facilities.^[11][12] The company in Dubai itself also called as Vsun Mobility. Since it started the business in Dubai, Vsun Mobility has rapidly grown the successful business in almost all Persian gulf regions like U.A.E, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait & Egypt in a very short time.

The company also set up its first Indian assembly unit in Bawal, Haryana, India which is said to be the India's largest factory unit after considering India's Make in India initiative by the recent local government. It has more than 40 assembly lines itself in the 10 acres of land area with having the capacity to produce more than 40 million devices each year.

The company entered the mobile phone market in 2011. The company launches their products first in U.A.E and then distribute to the worldwide. Vsun company has large number of warehouses in Al Quoz area which is located in Dubai, U.A.E. The distribution are done from these warehouses to another locations with several countries by Air, Ship and Land cargo.

GITEX Exhibitions

Vsun launched 6 models of smartphones at GITEX, Dubai in 2015 to kick starts regional expansion in Saudi Arabia & Egypt.^[13] And also reveals its expansion plans across the MENA regions.^{[14][15][16][17][18]}

In March 2016 at GITEX Spring Shoppers' Exhibition held in Dubai - Vsun has launched its new flagship 5 inches smartphone named RACE along with new 6 inches smartphone ILLUSION. Both are VR enabled smartphones which gives all versions of VR experiences.^[19][20][21]

The company is committed to providing a WOW experience to its customers using high end technology and creativity by introducing At VSUN Innovation Labs (VLabs).

The Company also plans to have its own team to continuously work on proprietary Virtual Reality contents & provide their customers for a new and better VR experience. VLabs will develop real life videos, games and 360 degree animations in VR & regularly push contents to a Vsun customer's phone directly.
