Virginia Beach City Football Club is an American semi-professional soccer club based in Virginia Beach, Virginia playing in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) in 2016 in the Mid-Atlantic Conference of the Northeast Region.

The team plays at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex which is a soccer-specific stadium built in 1999 and seats 6,000. It was one of the first soccer-specific stadiums built in the U.S.

Ownership

NPSL Virginia Beach is led by owner Steven Wagoner and head coach Brian Hinkey. Wagoner is the founder and partner of Nexus Street, LLC, which owns and operates four companies, including D.C. United U-23 NPSL /Federal City FC. Wagoner also serves on the Advisory Board for the George Mason University’s Center for Sport Management.
