Victoria Aveyard is an American writer of young adult and fantasy fiction and screenplays.[1] She is known for her fantasy novel Red Queen,[2] which is in development to be adapted into a movie. Aveyard wrote the novel a year after graduating from University of Southern California's screenwriting program in 2012.[3][4] Sony Pictures teamed up with her to write spec screenplay Eternal.[5]

Early life

Aveyard was born in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts, a small town in the United States.[6] She developed an interest in writing at an early age, "writing since [she] physically could write."[7]
