Victor Oscar Pacheco Mendez
Born in 1980 in Atlanta (Georgia), together with his Family moved to Dominican Republic where he grew with a strong influence of his Grandfather Victor Mendez Capellan,[1] who showed him the value of hard work since childhood.
Education:
Victor Oscar Pacheco Mendez, made his primary studies at the Carol Morgan School, in Santo Domingo. In 1998, he went to live in Georgia, where he made his middle and high school education in Riverside Military Academy.[2][3] Afterwards, he returned to Dominican Republic and studied business administration at the Universidad Iberoamericana Dominican Republic (UNIBE), he obtained an MBA in the same house of studies.
Professional career:
During high school, Victor started to work in Vimenca,[4] family business founded by his grandfather, where he remained for 10 years working in different fields inside the company like the areas of communications, logistics, and others. In 2009, he decided to launch his own project and created Panacrédito [5]- online lending company and in 2010 Tiendo [6]- an online marketplace with the vision of expansion to other countries in Latin America. In 2014 together with partners created Grupo VOPM [7] “Virtual Operating Model” Latin American Internet group with development teams in Cuba, Chile, United States,Dominican Republic and Llamundo, a telecommunication company.
