Vendasta is a Canadian computer software company located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. The company develops a platform for helping agencies and media companies sell digital solutions to local businesses,[1][2] including white-label digital brand management solutions that allow businesses to monitor, manage and build their brand.[3]

History

Vendasta was founded in January 2008[5] by Brendan King, Ches Hagen, Jeff Tomlin, Guy Kelsey, Allan Wolinski, Jason Collins, and John Fothergill. In 2011, Vendasta launched its Reputation Management platform.[6]

Employees

Vendasta was listed #1 in Flow Magazine's "10 Positive City Workplaces" in Saskatoon.[7] As of June 2016, Vendasta has over 207 employees,[2] 90% of whom work in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Vendasta also has offices in Vancouver, and Toronto.

Awards

In November 2015 Vendasta was awarded the #273 spot on Deloitte's 2015 Technology Fast 500 List [8] as well as the #33 spot on Deloitte's 2015 Technology Fast 50 Canada List.[9]

Rapid expansion from 105 employees in 2015 to its current capacity of 207 employees recently earned Vendasta recognition, being awarded the SABEX award in the Growth and Expansion category.[2][10]

Vendasta won Street Fight's Local Visionary Award for "Best Marketing Campaign for Your Product" in October 2016, at a conference in New York City,[11] winning specifically for Snapshot Report,[12] a tool which scores local businesses’ online presence, showing them how they stack up against their competition in online listings, customer reviews, social media, website presence and search engine marketing.[13]
